Priyanka Deo

Priyanka Deo is a distinguished media professional with an impressive international background. She currently serves as the Assistant Director of Media Strategy at the University of Illinois Springfield (UIS).

Priyanka holds graduate degrees from prestigious institutions including Harvard University, the University of Southern California (USC), and the London School of Economics (LSE), as well as undergraduate degrees from UIS.


Her professional experience includes working with The Times of India Group in New Delhi, where she played a key role in the chief operating officer's office and hosted her own digital show. She has also worked as an anchor and deputy editor at Associated Broadcasting.


Priyanka is recognized as a national political commentator in India and has been involved in high-profile political campaigns, including being part of the communications team for Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the 2019 Lok Sabha national elections.


During her time at UIS, Priyanka was captain of the women's NCAA varsity tennis team and a nationally accomplished policy debater. She received the Lincoln Medallion and was named a Student Laureate of The Lincoln Academy of Illinois.


Priyanka's diverse skill set and international experience make her a valuable asset in the fields of media strategy, public relations, and digital communication.
